Job summary

Gensler in Seattle's Northwest Region is seeking a healthcare design expert to strengthen our architectural leadership in healthcare projects and expand the client base. The role emphasizes thought leadership, project leadership, and industry engagement with a focus on strategic growth.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in architecture and a proven track record managing healthcare facilities, OSHPD experience, and strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Expertise across a wide range of healthcare project types
• 15+ years of architectural experience with leadership in health projects
• Proven OSHPD experience locally and at the state level
• Experience with OSHPD I/III facilities; V is a plus
• Experience designing medical centers, clinics, hospitals, surgery centers, etc.
• 5+ years in client development and studio/office leadership
• Experience building relationships with new and existing clients
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Strong presentation abilities and compelling interviews
• Passion for healthcare and ability to inspire others
• Commitment to sustainable and equitable design
• Licenses/certifications preferred (AIA/NCARB/NCIDQ; ACHA/EDAC/LEED AP is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Utilize expertise, industry engagement, and client relationships to win new healthcare projects.
• Foster strategic development of projects.
• Manage clients, including project organization and start-up.
• Collaborate with other Gensler leaders to grow the Healthcare practice.
• Partner with regional leadership to standardize best practices for healthcare.
• Develop client strategies, market positioning, and leadership in healthcare design.
• Collaborate on talent development and acquisition.
