Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in South Jersey seeks an experienced Application Support Lead to enhance, support, and maintain enterprise applications. You will guide teams of application analysts, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure customer-focused delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating work, mentoring teammates, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing small to medium projects with stakeholders across the organization. On-call 24x7 support is required.

Qualifications

• 6 years minimum supporting and maintaining an application(s) while providing guidance, leadership, and technical supervision.
• 7-10 years of relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience may be considered for candidates with a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to mentor and coach teammates.

Responsibilities

• Enhance, support, and maintain applications and provide guidance, leadership, and technical supervision to teams of application analysts.
• Troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
• Coordinate the work of the team to ensure timely assignment of work and mentor new team members.
• Gather requirements, provide fit-gap analysis, and create effective technical solutions for business needs; document workflows.
• Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported environment; manage small to medium projects.
• Collaborate to design, build and execute integration and user acceptance testing; maintain test scripts.
• QA, triage, and assign incidents and change requests; escalate when SLA is at risk.
• Provide second level on-call support 24x7.
