Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is hiring an Analytics Engineer for our Strategic Analytics Department. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining relational databases, data models, and data pipelines to support financial, operational, and clinical reporting.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday) with 40 hours/week, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, retirement match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience with designing and developing relational databases and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, views and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain databases, data marts, and data models in SQL Server, Snowflake, and comparable platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards in Power BI and Tableau for financial, operational, and regulatory reporting.
• Build and manage automated ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from clinical, financial, and operational sources.
• Consult with stakeholders to translate analytics needs into scalable data and reporting solutions.
