Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Analytics Developer to translate complex healthcare needs into trusted analytics solutions and reusable data products that improve decision-making and efficiency. You will collaborate with business and technical partners, support junior team members, and drive measurable value across Care Coverage Analytics.

As a Developer 2, you will own analytics initiatives with growing autonomy, evaluate solution options, and contribute to problem definition, outcome

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience developing analytics solutions, data products, or decision-support capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field.
• Healthcare-domain knowledge and familiarity with claims/EHR data.
• Ability to frame business problems and connect results to outcomes.
• Strong SQL skills; Snowflake experience is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Python for analysis, validation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics solutions and reusable data products from definition to delivery.
• Translate healthcare needs into analytical requirements and measures.
• Design reusable datasets, semantic models, and workflows for trusted results.
• Use SQL and Python to analyze data, build solutions, and validate outcomes.
• Apply NLQ and data science techniques to improve data access and value.
• Ensure data definitions are documented, governed, and applied consistently.
• Build validation, monitoring, and remediation workflows for data quality.
