Qualifications

• 1+ years of analytical experience in healthcare — managed care, payer contracting, provider reimbursement, or health plan analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and building audit-ready models.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined version control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid contracts to quantify rate exposure and identify underpayment and language risk.
• Build and maintain fee schedule analyses across CPT, HCPCS, DRG, and APC-based reimbursement.
• Compare contracted rates against Medicare, market benchmarks, and peer positioning to surface renegotiation targets.
• Document findings clearly so a client executive can follow the logic from data to conclusion.
• Build and stress-test reimbursement models across fee-for-service, case rate, per diem, capitated, and value-based methodologies.
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify financial impact of proposed rates and language.
• Support negotiation by producing analytical foundations for rate proposals and walk-away points.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure data integrity and timely delivery to clients.
