You will work with clinicians, UX designers, product managers, and IT professionals to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI/ML development, governance, and secure deployment across clinical workflows, with a hybrid work model and proximity to Mayo Clinic campuses to accommodate on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, health science, or related field.
• Knowledge in applying AI and machine learning in production environments.
• Knowledge in cloud infrastructure environment and software development tools.
• Skill in AI/ML techniques and frameworks.
• Strong collaboration and communication across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with data engineering, data science, AI Engineering, and MLOps communities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinicians and IT staff to deploy AI/ML solutions into clinical practice.
• Contribute to AI software development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate user needs into design concepts and usability specs.
• Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and communicate findings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Participate in governance reviews and documentation.
