Job summary

Doximity is seeking a Commercial Data Scientist to uncover data-driven insights and build client-facing analyses using ML on large clinician datasets. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data products and automate scalable code.

The role requires strong Python, SQL, and distributed processing skills, plus experience deploying production ML models. Remote-friendly within the United States and SF headquarters are options.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role handling large, complex datasets.
• Experience in data science consulting at fast-paced firms (ZS, Trinity, IQVIA, BlueMatter, etc.).
• Strong grasp of statistical concepts including exploratory data analysis, experimental design, and probability.
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and model evaluation.
• Experience designing, training, and deploying large-scale production models (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for complex data manipulation across multiple tables.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing for scalable analysis and model training.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling to translate insights for internal and client stakeholders.
• Curiosity, fast learning, and commitment to staying current with ML advancements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver novel insights for clients using machine learning and AI.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Data, Insights & Strategy, and Sales teams on client analyses.
• Create data products and automate code for reuse across projects.
• Leverage large healthcare datasets to identify behavioral patterns of clinicians.
