Job summary

Penguin Ai is seeking a Business Development Representative to spearhead our healthcare outreach. You’ll identify decision-makers in health plans, payers, and risk-bearing groups, and convert interest into qualified conversations for the Sales team.

You’ll own multi-channel outreach, qualify buyers, book meetings, and help turn campaigns into pipeline. If you love healthcare, AI, and fast-growing startups, this role puts you at the frontline of transforming care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of BDR/SDR or outbound sales experience in SaaS/healthcare tech.
• Proven track record of hitting outbound quota.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain Prior Auth.
• Familiar with Salesforce/HubSpot and outreach tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospect target accounts across health plans and payers.
• Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, video).
• Qualify pain, budget, timing, and authority before a meeting.
• Book meetings that matter and hand qualified conversations to Sales Executives.
• Know the platform cold: Prior Auth, HCC Coding, and healthcare workflows.
• Partner with Marketing to turn campaigns into pipeline and feed insights.
• Keep the CRM pristine: log touches and signals.
• Hit activity and meetings-booked targets.
