About The Role
The role owns day-to-day administrative and operational management of healthcare program delivery: scheduling, credentialing coordination, compliance documentation, vendor and facility relationships, and reporting for a distributed clinical-support organization.
You will work at the intersection of US healthcare operations and technology — navigating HIPAA, payer requirements, and state-level regulations while building processes that scale. This role reports to leadership and directly impacts how efficiently care-adjacent teams operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Own administrative operations across scheduling, credentialing tracking, and provider onboarding workflows
- Maintain and audit compliance documentation (HIPAA training records, licensure verification, policy attestations) to support audits and payer reviews
- Coordinate with clinical, billing, and IT teams to resolve operational blockers and streamline cross-team workflows
- Manage vendor and facility relationships, including contracts renewals, service-level tracking, and escalations
- Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports in Excel, Google Workspace, or BI tools; present KPIs to leadership monthly
- Develop and update standard operating procedures, ensuring documentation reflects current regulatory requirements
- Support budget tracking and purchase-order workflows for departmental spend
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of healthcare administration, practice management, or healthcare operations experience in a US healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, payer/credentialing processes, and state and federal healthcare compliance requirements
- Proficiency with EHR/practice management systems (Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar) and strong spreadsheet skills
- Experience documenting SOPs and driving process improvements with measurable outcomes
- Strong written communication and cross-functional coordination skills; comfortable working with remote teams
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Bonus: CMPE or FACHE certification; experience with payer contracting or revenue cycle operations; familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Asana, or Tableau
