Job summary

Advocate Health offers an Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing Healthcare Administration. Interns rotate through system administration areas and operations to gain hands-on experience in operations, strategy, and project work across the network.

Responsibilities include supporting healthcare projects, collaborating with physicians and admin staff, and assisting in data collection, analysis, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with graduate level status in a relevant healthcare program.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to work products.
• Join rotation teams and utilize internal and external resources to achieve goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, admin staff and allied health professionals across Advocate Health.
• Describe and integrate functions related to practice, education and research across settings.
• Support process improvement through data collection and analysis for projects.
