Job summary

Milliman in Seattle invites applications for a summer intern to work with consulting actuaries on actuarial models for pricing and forecasting. The role offers hands-on experience in healthcare actuarial work, with mentorship and a 12-week onsite program in Seattle from May to August 2027.

The intern will analyze healthcare data, assist with research and marketing projects, and help prepare client presentations while participating in trainings with senior actuaries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field.
• Completion of one or more SOA exams.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2029.
• Interest in an actuarial career with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
