Milliman in Seattle seeks actuarial analysts to develop and apply models for pricing and forecasting in healthcare. You will work with consulting actuaries, gain hands-on training, and advance in a collaborative environment.

Join a team of over 180 actuarial professionals, benefit from mentor programs, and pursue SOA exams toward Fellowship while contributing to healthcare improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or related field.
• Up to 4 years of healthcare actuarial experience.
• SOA exam passed minimum (1+; 2+ preferred).
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, Python, and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to network and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex healthcare data and generate insightful reports using advanced spreadsheets and databases.
• Draft clear, professional reports and correspondence for clients and internal teams.
• Review and validate colleagues' work to ensure exceptional quality.
• Contribute to research initiatives and support marketing projects.
• Pursue actuarial exams with goal of Fellowship.
