Chapters Health System, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to ensure accurate payments to vendors and providers. The role entails processing invoices/claims, researching issues, obtaining approvals, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, meticulous recordkeeping, and timely processing. Candidates should have at least one year of accounting experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Formación

• Minimum of one (1) year accounting experience to include General Ledger, AP, A/R or Financial Reporting.
• For Patient Payables - preferred two (2) years experience in medical claims processing, medical biller or coder.
• Computer experience to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Windows Explorer.
• Team player and self-starter who is accurate and detail-oriented.
• Professional attitude and highly organized with ability to manage many tasks.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and prioritize duties within time frames.

Responsabilidades

• Process invoices/check requests using automated AP system.
• Enter vouchers into AP system and review for accuracy; ensure receipts attached for employee expenses.
• Assign affiliate/GL codes and approver for vouchers.
• Obtain vendor W-9 and ACH details for new vendors.
• Communicate with vendors and teams on invoice questions.
• Update required logs and monitor payment queues for timeliness.
• Assist with annual 1099 process.
• Analyze patient payables by reviewing claims against agreements and fee schedules.
• Resolve pended or denied claims and respond to provider inquiries.
