Job summary

Unified Health Plan in Wichita, KS, is seeking an Account Manager onsite to serve as the primary liaison for employer groups and brokers. You will guide implementation, onboarding, ongoing administration, renewals, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

The role requires strong organization, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required for client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources, or a related field.
• Two or more years of account management, employee benefits, healthcare administration, insurance, or related experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and coordinating work across multiple departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or project-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employer groups and brokers.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, brokers, consultants, and vendor partners.
• Coordinate the implementation and onboarding of new employer groups.
• Lead kickoff calls and recurring implementation meetings.
• Monitor open service issues and ensure timely follow-through and resolution.
• Coordinate changes involving eligibility, benefits, vendors, plan documents, and administration.
• Coordinate and present utilization, claims, network, financial and service-performance reporting.
• Manage renewal timelines and coordinate renewal proposals and supporting materials.
