Job summary

Real Chemistry is looking for an Account Director to join our growing team. The role demands leadership across broad work streams, strong client management, and a strategic mindset in pharmaceutical marketing.

This hybrid role is based in any US office—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, Lambertville or San Francisco—or remote within the US, depending on team needs. You’ll mentor staff, drive integrated campaigns, and help deliver client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
• 5-7 years marketing experience, agency environment preferred.
• Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent business communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience working on Therapeutic brands is a plus.
• Previous experience managing junior staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain productive working relationships to drive agency success.
• Demonstrate understanding of key messages, data and promotional story for brand and competition.
• Develop and align on key documents that drive success (e.g., Project and Creative Briefs).
• Read and interpret analytics around programming, tactics and brand performance (KPIs, goals).
• Negotiate to meet client needs while managing agency resources and projects effectively.
• Identify opportunities to make recommendations based on customers, markets and competition with rationales.
• Lead by example and provide ongoing leadership as a role model for the team.
• Collaborate across teams to drive success and pursue business objectives while developing talent.
