Job summary

Excellus BCBS invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program, running from June to August with up to 40 hours per week. Interns gain access to development workshops, mentorship, and work on meaningful projects across tracks like Business Administration, IT, Analytics, and more.

Interns may explore technical or non-technical areas and will present their outcomes to leadership while developing professional skills in a corporate setting. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate degree; high school diploma required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong presentation skills beneficial.
• Experience with customer service and presentations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop content for new provider training programs.
• Shadow Provider Relations Representatives and related staff.
• Support mentor-led activities and key projects.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy per policy.
• Attend development workshops and participate in team initiatives.
