Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Health Wellness Home to partner with the Store Director and lead a large team across store operations. The role emphasizes coaching, staffing, and delivering exceptional customer service while aligning with Hy-Vee values of honesty and integrity.

You will oversee opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and safety to drive strong results and a positive workplace culture. This is a full-time, on-site position in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years of similar or related managerial experience required.
• Dale Carnegie and perimeter department training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all store employees, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
• Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, in partnership with the Store Director and HR.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Assist in managing store operations including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Coordinate daily workflows to maximize productivity and efficiency across departments.
• Ensure all equipment and store systems are functioning properly and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Assist in overseeing merchandising efforts, ensuring shelves are stocked, displays are appealing, and pricing is accurate.
• Help manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking, to minimize waste and prevent out-of-stocks.
• Support the execution of promotional strategies and seasonal displays.
• Coordinate recruiting, hiring, orientation, and training of store employees.
