Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc is seeking a Manager of Health Wellness Home to lead a large team and drive exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure daily operations meet Hy-Vee standards and community expectations.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and merchandising oversight while maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment. Prior experience and a focus on development are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five+ years of managerial experience preferred.
• Dale Carnegie and perimeter department training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all store employees in alignment with goals.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for the team.
• Handle employee relations issues with HR and Store Director.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Open/close procedures, scheduling, inventory control, and safety.
• Coordinate daily workflows to maximize productivity across departments.
• Ensure equipment and store systems function properly.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing accuracy, and displays.
• Manage inventory levels and restocking to minimize waste.
• Support promotional strategies and seasonal displays.
• Coordinate recruiting, orientation, and training of staff.
• Develop pricing structures and merchandising plans.
• Safeguard financial assets and monitor pricing trends.
• Represent Hy-Vee in the community and engage employees.
• Take on special projects as they arise.
