Job summary

YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Health and Well-being Program Director to lead the Health and Well-being Department and ensure high-quality programs for members. You will oversee staff, programs, and resources to deliver programming that positively impacts the community.

The ideal candidate has experience with wellness programs for Active Older Adults, fitness coaching, personal training, and leading group exercise classes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with wellness programs for Active Older Adults (AOA).
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate health and well-being activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for Health and Well-being Department.
• Oversee staff, programs, and resources to deliver high-quality programming.
• Support AOA programming and lead related initiatives.
• Promote inclusive programming and safety standards.
