The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a Health and Wellbeing Program Director for the Gordon Family YMCA in Sumner, WA. You will design, implement, and evaluate health and well-being programs and lead staff to deliver high-quality experiences for members.

Salary ranges from $23.70 to $29.91 per hour. This full-time, on-site role includes benefits such as health plans, retirement savings, paid vacation, holidays, and loan forgiveness eligibility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or two years related knowledge and experience including supervision, fiscal management, program development.
• Knowledge of current health and well-being safety and program standards.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate programs.
• Pass Background and Reference checks.
• CPR for the Professional, AED First Aid, Oxygen certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• YMCA Lifeguard or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and evaluate programs, activities, and events.
• Create and schedule health and well-being classes and activities.
• Coordinate use of facilities and equipment for programs and events.
• Instruct classes in a safe, enjoyable environment welcoming all cultures and fitness levels.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and lead staff and volunteers.
• Review staff performance with senior management.
• Support development and implementation of volunteer training.
• Schedule shifts and time-off, approve time cards.
• Track volunteer time and ensure training is funded.
• Ensure staff certifications are current.
