Optimatum Solutions is seeking a Senior Health & Welfare Leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment in New York City. This client-facing role leads strategy development, project management, and end-to-end solutions for HR and benefits programs, with autonomy and visibility across engagements.

You will leverage deep expertise in health and retirement plans, vendor management, and HR systems to improve costs, compliance, and process efficiency, while mentoring junior staff and shaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• 10+ years of professional experience in HR and employee benefits plans, programs, and vendors.
• Experience in an advisory/consulting environment or external consulting is required.
• Prior people management and mentorship experience.
• Proven client engagement, account management or customer success experience.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced data analysis skills and strategic mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• CEBS designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engagement Delivery: Manage HR and benefits programs across client engagements.
• Project Management: Design and implement project plans with budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Vendor Management: Oversee HR health/retirement vendors and related systems.
• Plan/Program/System Support: Collaborate with stakeholders on benefit plan lifecycle and HRIS.
• Forensic Analysis: Identify optimization opportunities in HR data and processes.
• Implementation/Transition: Lead vendor transitions and ensure critical elements are completed.
• Compliance Management: Support plans, notices, and regulatory requirements.
• Communication: Lead client communications and stakeholder updates.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively manage issues and escalations.
• Client Services: Build relationships and ensure client success.
• People Management: Mentor analysts and internal resources for delivery.
