Optimatum Solutions is seeking a Health & Welfare Consultant who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is eager to make a tangible impact. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who have previously worked within highly matrixed organizations and step into a dynamic, growing company where your contributions directly shape outcomes.
As a Health & Welfare Consultant, you’ll bring deep expertise in HR and employer-sponsored Health & Welfare and Retirement benefit programs, plans, vendors, operations, and systems. You’ll collaborate closely with our Client Services Team to define and execute innovative strategies that create measurable value across HR and benefits. Unlike larger organizations where ownership can feel diluted, here you’ll have end-to-end visibility, significant autonomy, and the chance to influence both client success and the trajectory of our business.
If you’re ready to leverage your experience in a setting where agility, creativity, and impact matter—and where your work will be seen and felt—this is the role for you.
The Opportunity
The Health & Welfare Consultant supports the Client Services team in analytics, streamlining processes and ensuring compliance across clients’ HR/Benefit plans, processes, programs, systems, applications and functions. The ideal candidate will utilize Microsoft Office tools, strong research abilities, and effective communication skills to contribute to project delivery through data analysis, process evaluation, interpretation and reporting of findings, as well as provide general project management support.
We offer a competitive compensation and generous employee benefits package that includes:
Join the Optimatum Team, bring your talent, and work in our New York City office located in the Rockefeller Center area. (This is an in-office position, but could be remote for the right talent)
