Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to support the 4E General Medicine team at Methodist Hospital. The role focuses on patient care coordination, information provision, directing needs, and ensuring exceptional service across the unit.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with patients, families, and staff, and uphold the vision and philosophy of nursing care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Completion of a Health Unit Coordinator program preferred.
• Previous customer service experience, medical terminology and keyboarding skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support unit nursing staff and other departments by coordinating patient care and providing information.
• Direct and assist patients, families, and visitors, securing resources as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure exceptional customer service aligned with Park Nicollet Health Services values.
