Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator II to ensure the smooth flow of activities on the patient care unit. You will maintain excellent public relations with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians while safeguarding confidential information.

You will serve as a preceptor for onboarding new HUCs, manage entry of research orders, and coordinate scheduling for patient discharges, with accurate time and attendance submission per payroll policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: The National Association of Health Unit Coordinators (NAHUC) Certification.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the overall flow of activities on the patient care unit.
• Enter research orders and schedule patient appointments at discharge.
• Maintain confidentiality of information related to the organization.
• Serve as preceptor for onboarding new Health Unit Coordinators and unit-specific training.
• Submit time and attendance for team members according to payroll policies.
