Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator II to ensure the smooth flow of activities on the patient care unit. You will maintain excellent public relations with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians while safeguarding confidential information.

The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for the overall flow and coordination of activities within the patient care unit. Maintains good public relations with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, while preserving confidentiality of information related to the organization. Functions as preceptor for onboarding newly hired Health Unit Coordinators, including department onboarding and unit-specific training. Duties include entering research orders, if needed, and scheduling appointments for patients upon discharge. Responsible for accurate and timely submission of time and attendance for team members according to payroll system policies and procedures.

Salary Range

$18.64 - $28.53 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
