Baptist Health is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac Outpatient Unit in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day position is based at the Heart Center Downtown and requires handling clerical tasks to support nursing staff and patient care.

Responsibilities include receptionist duties, chart organization, inventory management, and coordinating communications. A High School Diploma or GED is required; BLS certification is also required, with an Associate's degree preferred.

Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Cardiac Outpatient Unit.

This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Full-Time Days opportunity working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm and is located at the Heart Center Downtown (Jacksonville, FL).

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.

Additional Responsibilities Include

• Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
• Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
• Maintaining patient chart folders
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
