Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time weekend position (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am-7:00pm) in a fast-paced clerical role on the nursing unit.

Responsibilities include answering call lights, managing supplies, maintaining patient chart folders, assisting customers with service excellence, and keeping the nursing station orderly. Education: HS diploma required; A.A.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• Associate's Degree Preferred.
• BLS Required.

• Maintaining patient chart folders.

Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Progressive Care Unit.

This Health Unit Coordinator role is a

Part-Time Weekends opportunity with shifts of Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
