Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac Outpatient Unit in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time day position offers a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, at the Heart Center Downtown.

The role involves clerical duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment, including patient chart management and serving patients and staff with service-oriented professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights and phone calls promptly.
• Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment.
• Maintaining patient chart folders.
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Cardiac Outpatient Unit.

Full-Time Days opportunity working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm and is located at the Heart Center Downtown (Jacksonville, FL).

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
