Capitol View Transitional Care Center in Saint Paul, part of HealthPartners, seeks a Health Unit Coordinator to support daily operations and patient experiences in a 40-hour, 1.0 FTE role. You will handle front-desk duties, admissions, charting in Epic, and coordinating appointments and transportation.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and familiarity with medical terminology; EPIC knowledge is preferred.
Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. The Health Unit Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for patients, families, visitors, and healthcare staff. In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily operations and an exceptional patient experience. You will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:
FTE: 1.0; 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
