Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to join Methodist Hospital in Minnesota. This role supports nursing staff, other clinical teams, patients and visitors by coordinating care, sharing information, directing requests and securing needed resources to ensure smooth operations.

The position is part-time (0.75 FTE) with evening shifts and a 12-hour schedule, including every third weekend. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and health unit coordinator training, plus customer

Position Summary:

The Health Unit Coordinator serves as a resource for unit nursing staff, allied health departments, medical staff, patients, and visitors by assisting with patient care coordination, providing information, giving direction, securing assistance and resources, and troubleshooting. This is done in a manner, which reflects the vision, mission, and philosophy of nursing and Park Nicollet Health Services. The Health Unit Coordinator is expected to provide exceptional customer service.

Work Schedule:

.75 FTE, Evenings, 12hr. Every Third Weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma preferred. Completion of a Health Unit Coordinator program preferred. Previous customer service experience, medical terminology and keyboarding skills is preferred.
