Job summary

GLIDE's Health Empowerment & Access Team (HEAT) seeks a Health Systems Program Manager in San Francisco to coordinate HIV, HCV, and STI screening and prevention services. You will ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and data-driven quality improvement across testing operations, while coordinating with SFDPH and community partners.

The role includes direct counseling, sample collection, chain of custody, audit prep, and supervising interns and testing staff, with adherence to HIPAA

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of HIV/HCV/STI prevention education, phlebotomy, or testing experience with similar populations.
• Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience in clinical/public health settings, including oversight of full-time staff.
• Current California CPT-1 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• CA Rapid HIV/HCV Test Counselor certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA process and chain of custody for testing forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Train staff on testing paperwork and data entry and communicate new testing protocols.
• Lead evaluation activities and support during monitoring periods.
• Prepare reports for audits by contract funding entities.
• Collect samples, run rapid HIV/HCV tests, and manage related paperwork and QA for SFDPH and SF AIDS Foundation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in public health or related field
