Bayer is seeking a National Account Director - Health Systems in the United States to drive sales and market growth within major health systems, IDNs, and hospital networks. The role collaborates with cross-functional leaders to execute strategy, deliver sales goals, and support initiatives in a complex healthcare environment.

The candidate should bring 5+ years of pharma sales experience in hospitals/health systems, strong formulary knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
Experience working with hospitals, health systems, IDNs, and organized customers
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales with direct experience in hospitals/health systems in an account management capacity
Proven record of success in formulary and pathway adoption within health systems or hospital environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel nationally and 25-50% travel regionally

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic account sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets within national health systems and hospital networks
Identify opportunities to grow product adoption and win new business in health systems
Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Lead and coach Regional Account Directors and work with cross-functional teams to execute strategy
Engage in business development activities, including conferences, trade shows, and stakeholder meetings
Provide regular reporting on sales performance and market trends
