Job summary
University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Specialty Director of the Health Systems Leadership Track. This is a full-time Instructional Series faculty appointment with dedicated time to lead the track.
The successful candidate will have leadership educational experience and a track record in academic teaching, with duties spanning teaching, practice, and service within the College of Nursing and university community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Substitution: direct-entry master's degree.
- An earned doctorate in an appropriate field (science, nursing, education, or related).
- Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare leadership position.
- Experience teaching and managing a leadership curriculum/courses.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, collegial collaboration, and scholarship.
- Eligible to obtain an unencumbered nursing license in Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities.
- Administrative responsibility for the Health Systems Leadership Track (recruiting, interviewing prospective students, securing clinical placements).
- Engage in curricular/program development and evaluation for the track.
- Collaborate across nursing programs and engage with diverse stakeholders.
