Current Need: McKesson is seeking a Health Systems Field Account Representative to join our Med-Surg Health Systems team, supporting multiple locations of a large key account in Atlanta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization that is transforming healthcare delivery. Our preferred candidate will currently reside in this area of Atlanta. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
The Health Systems Field Account Representative will conduct service visits to customer locations, with travel approximately 40-50%. Duties include meeting with key contacts to reinforce McKesson value proposition, facilitate onboarding and initial customer location ordering, support key sales initiatives as directed by Management, manage utilization and formulary adherence, and support McKesson Brand and other product conversions. This role will also coordinate with Field Vice President to capitalize on incremental sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Visits to Health Systems Group Customer Locations
Execute service calls on health systems group customer locations as directed by Health Systems team.
Reinforce McKesson value prop that has been sold to the corporate office to the group customer locations.
Execute contract business case and account plans, detailing support and contractual requirements, opportunities, expansion strategies, required resources, decision makers and influencers, and insights into account.
Drive the attainment of customer satisfaction indicators such as service level, financial objectives, quality, reliability and alignment and attainment of customer goals.
Support customer onboarding by making presentations to key people at customer locations during the first 30 days of the customers start date.
Introduce new products to field locations as driven by product conversions and formulary changes directed by the corporate office.
Educate key personnel at customer locations and influence them to drive lower product utilization and adhere to the product formulary approved by the corporate office.
Determine any customer satisfaction gaps at customer locations and resell value prop as needed.
Sales Expansion
Sell products to locations as allowed by customer agreement and formulary.
Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience.
Must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record
Critical Skills:
Client service and/or sales experience
Ability to travel to client locations 2 to 3 days per week
Adaptive and solution-basedservice approach to working with customers/sales teams
Strong and persuasive communication skills, ability to influence and drive customer behavior to and predetermined objective.
Professional, engaging and confident demeanor
Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills
Understanding of technology and customer ordering systems
Proficiency using MS Office applications
Additional Skills
Medical/healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Strong consultation and communication skills; ability to collaborate well with a diverse range of people at customer locations
Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change
Ability to work autonomously
Able to travel up to 3-4 days per week within assigned territory
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Significant amount of time performing computer and phone-based work is required
Significant amount of time spent traveling via car
Home Office environment with frequent travel (limited to no overnight travel)
