Responsibilities

• Assists the C&P Manager/Analyst in developing short- and long-term goals for the C&P program.
• Assists in identifying resources needed for the credentialing and privileging program.
• Assists in drafting local credentialing processes and Medical Staff Bylaws in compliance with regulations.
• Reviews VetPro reports to detect problem areas requiring investigation.
• Ensures provider data in VetPro and internal databases is accurate and up-to-date.
• Advises hospital staff on required documentation to establish privileges for Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs).
• Manages LIPs C&P initial and renewal applications within the ECHCS and prepares committee paperwork.
