Job summary

The position supports development of infrastructure for lifestyle change and patient safety initiatives within the Veterans Health Administration framework, with duties scheduled 7:30 AM–4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Major Duties may include: Program Analysis—conducts studies and projects to improve efficiency and reliability across the Medical Center.
• Incumbent may perform budget analysis duties.
• Analyzes current or projected healthcare programs for effectiveness.
• Serves as Program Manager supporting new programs aligned with the journey to high reliability.
• Collaborates with National Center for Patient Safety, Office of Systems Redesign and Improvement, Quality Management and Patient Safety Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.
