SmithGroup's San Diego office seeks a Health Studio Leader to guide design teams in healthcare and related sectors. You will lead project teams through all phases, from client contacts to construction administration, while advancing SmithGroup's strategic themes of growth, expertise, and holistic design.

Ideal candidates bring a professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering, 15+ years AE experience, licensure, LEED AP preferred, and a proven ability to win work, manage

Qualifications

• 15+ years related experience in the AE industry.
• Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering.
• Registration or licensure; LEED AP preferred.
• Proven leadership and track record of winning work and growing market share.
• Strong business acumen and communication; ability to lead in a team setting.
• Willingness to relocate to the Los Angeles area as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Grow practice market share and net revenue in conjunction with the local office and corporate practice.
• Provide leadership and management for the studio’s development and growth.
• Maintain relationships with past clients and develop relationships with current/new clients.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and market leaders to market and grow services.
• Lead projects through all phases from client contacts to construction administration and follow-up.
