Job summary

Viability, Inc. is seeking a Health Services Support Professional in Springfield, MA to join our team. This full-time role offers 30–35 hours per week, with a schedule from 8:30am to 3:30pm and a pay rate of $17.25 per hour.

You will assist members with ADL tasks, help increase independence, respond to first aid needs, and participate in assessments. A High School diploma or GED plus 1 year of related experience or CNA training is required. Eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year related experience and/or CNA training.
• One year of human service experience desired.
• Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and implement training procedures to increase independence in personal care and ADL.
• Attend to members’ first aid needs and participate in member assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successfully completion of first 90 days) **

Position: Health Services Support Professional – Full-Time

Location: Springfield, MA

Rate of Pay: $17.25 per hour

Hours: 30-35 hours per week

Schedule: 8:30am-3:30pm

Summary:

• The Personal Needs Attendant is responsible for assisting members with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills; implementing training procedures to assist members in increasing their independence in the areas of personal care and ADL; attending to members’ first aid needs; participating in member assessments and various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED plus 1-year related experience and/or CNA training.
• One year of human service experience desired.
• Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability.
• Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
• Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet
