University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a Health Services Research faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to join our growing interdisciplinary center focused on implementation science and health system transformation.

This 100% in-office Peoria-based position offers opportunities to lead an extramurally funded research program, mentor trainees, and teach across programs, collaborating with Jump Simulation and local hospitals to improve real-world

Qualifications

• MD with MPH, PhD, DrPH or equivalent in health services research.
• Proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals.
• Experience securing extramural funding.
• Mentoring trainees and junior faculty.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a high-impact health services research program.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research on healthcare delivery, access, quality, and outcomes.
• Lead the development, submission, and management of competitive grant proposals.
• Publish high-impact scholarly work in leading journals.
• Provide active mentorship to junior faculty, trainees, and students.
• Contribute to teaching in health services research, epidemiology, or related fields.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners across C4HR, UICOMP, healthcare systems and community organizations.
• Participate in institutional, departmental, and professional service activities.
