Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, and manage small to mid-scale projects ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. The role leads cross-functional teams and maintains end-to-end project governance within the FEP Health Services Liaison team.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination across operations, technical, and health services teams to support PIP and QAP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business or related field or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 3 years of project-related experience.
• Experience with FEP health services liaison functions (preferred).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, mitigates risks for FEP health services related projects.
• Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for medium-size projects.
• Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes and policies/regulations and recommends improvements.
• Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrix environment and leads the execution of the project.
