Job summary

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in Maryland is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, and manage small to mid-scale projects, ensuring objectives are delivered on time and within budget.

The role leads cross-functional teams, mitigates risks, tracks progress, and ensures end-to-end delivery for health services initiatives within the FEP division, coordinating with operations, technical and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years experience in project related field.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules, mitigates risks for FEP health services related projects.
• Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for medium-size projects.
• Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements.
• Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture.
