Job summary

PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) in Emporia, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants. The role requires an approved LPN program graduate with current state licensure and knowledge of long-term care practices.

The position offers starting wages of $25.00 per hour plus shift and weekend differentials under our Premium Pay Plan, with additional pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure care aligns with federal, state and local standards and guidelines; reflect resident-first values.

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community and as may be required by the department director or supervisor to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Reflects the value that the resident comes first. This employee values the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.

Starting at $25.00 an hour PLUS Shift and Weekend Differential with our PREMIUM PAY PLAN! Additional Pay based upon experience.
