Job summary

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The role emphasizes person-centered care and adherence to applicable long-term care regulations, guided by PMMA values.

Starting at $27.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under our PREMIUM PAY PLAN. Additional pay may be provided based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities by nursing assistants.
• Ensure quality care in line with federal/state/local standards.

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community and as may be required by the department director or supervisor to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Reflects the value that the resident comes first. This employee values the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.

Starting at $27.00 an hour PLUS Shift and Weekend Differential with our PREMIUM PAY PLAN!

Additional Pay based upon experience!

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE And/Or TRAINING

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus
• I.V. Certification is a plus
