Marquis Companies in Portland, OR is seeking a Health Services Director in Training (RN) for our Assisted Living facilities. This paid, full-time program provides in-depth training before transitioning to a full-time RN HSD role, with oversight of health services and nursing delegations across community-based care.

You will lead day-to-day clinical operations, coordinate resident care plans, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate State.
• Experience as a nursing supervisor is preferred.
• Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and/or Home Health Nursing experience is strongly desired.

What Does the Training Program Look Like?

This training program will take place at oneor our Assisted Livingfacilities in the Portland Metro Area. This paid position is full-time and will include training on all shifts to learn the day-to-day clinicalhealth services and RN delegations within Community based care.Uponcompletion of training,you will thenby ready to transitioninto a full-timeRN HSDposition within Marquis Companies, as opportunities arise.

As a Health Services Director (RN) - Assisted Living Facility your Nursing and Leaderships skills will be used to ensure that quality care is provided to our residents as you direct the day-to-day functions of the Health Services Department. You will be responsible for theclinical health services coordination anddelegation of nursing tasks to non-certified staff that work in the Assisted Living.

As the Health Services Director, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Delegate nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts, communicating regularly with residents, their families, and their health care practitioners.
• Collaborate with assigned staff and support personnel to plan the shift services, programs, and activities within the facility
• Participates in the implementation of the resident care planning process to comply with resident needs and regulatory agency requirements.
• Perform assessments on the health, functional and psychosocial status of each resident.
• Communicate regularly with residents’ families regarding health care needs.
• Direct the delivery of in-services/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that the department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to residents by participating in the recruitment and selection of personnel.
