Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Health Services Coordinator to support daily operations in the skilled nursing neighborhood.

You will maintain supplies, ensure budgetary compliance, and assist with billing while ensuring proper records management. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least one year in medical billing; certification in medical records or coding is a plus.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Health Services Coordinator in our skilled nursing neighborhood.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies and par levels for daily operations, maintaining budgetary compliance, tracking charges and validating them prior to billing. Reviews, compiles, and maintains resident electronic health records and any paper medical records according to all State, Federal, local, and company requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in medical records and/or medical coding(preferred)
  • Minimum of one year experience in medical billing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding

Pay Range

$17.46 - $22.05 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
