Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking a Health Scientist I to support program evaluation, performance measurement, implementation assessment, and technical assistance for THEEB.

You will participate in evaluation planning, logic model development, data collection and analysis, and reporting findings. This role requires foundational implementation research knowledge, collaboration with partners, and ability to work within government-like processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, epidemiology, evaluation, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in public health, evaluation, health science, program monitoring, or related field.
• Experience developing or supporting program logic models and indicators.
• Familiarity with implementation research concepts, including process evaluation and assessment of barriers and facilitators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Systematic assessment of a program’s inputs, activities, and outputs to determine value and improve the program.
• Develop evaluation plans, identify evaluation questions and indicators, collect and analyze data, interpret the data, and report findings.
• Develop a program logic model, identify outcomes, facilitate partner meetings, and provide training on evaluation methods.
• Familiarity with implementation research concepts and methods, including process evaluation and barriers/facilitators assessment.
• Know the rules governing intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint) efficiently.
• Use and manage CDC Administrative Systems (HUMAN SUBJECTS, OMB, IRB, and E-Clearance).
• Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines.
