The position is pooled, with levels 1–3 certification leading to pay increases and potential Lead Tutor responsibilities. Applicants must be WSU students with at least a B in the subjects tutored and a 3.0 GPA, and must complete Levels I & II of CRLA training.

Qualifications

• Must be a WSU student.
• Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
• A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
• Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Must participate in completing Levels I & II of tutor CRLA training.

Responsibilities

• Tutor WSU students in Health Sciences at the Ogden Learning Center.
• Provide tutoring on an individual appointment and/or drop-in basis.
• Training in tutoring techniques is provided.
• May serve as Learning Assistant in a related course if applicable and of interest.
• This is a pooled position with applicants selected from the pool as openings arise.
