Hourly pay begins at $14.50, with certification levels increasing pay. Must be a WSU student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete Levels I & II CRLA training.

Qualifications

• Must be a WSU student.
• Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
• Strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
• Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
• Must participate in completing Levels I & II of tutor CRLA training

Responsibilities

• Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department.
• Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis.
• Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor.
• We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.
• May include hours spent outside the center serving as a Learning Assistant in a related course, if applicable and of interest.
• Lead Tutor path offers higher pay and responsibilities when certified.
