Position Overview

The University of South Dakota Department of Public Health and Health Sciences, within the School of Health Sciences, invites applications for an instructor or lecturer position.

This faculty position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a dedicated team of faculty and staff to prepare graduates for a wide variety of health careers. It is a continuing faculty role structured on a 9‑month contract.

Responsibilities

The faculty member will be responsible for classroom instruction and online instruction in the following undergraduate education content areas:

• Interprofessional health teams
• Health career exploration
• The influences of culture, policy, and literacy on health

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a graduate degree and have undergraduate and/or graduate preparation in health, education, or human services, or a combination of relevant academic preparation and professional experience. An MPH is preferred.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
