Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking a 12-month, full-time instructor to teach Allied Health Core and Nurse Aide/Patient Care courses. You will provide theory and clinical instruction to prepare students for post-secondary programs and employment in health care.

Travel to multiple campus sites and day/evening/weekend teaching are required. Responsibilities include curriculum development, student advising, and supervising students during patient care in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health care or related field.
• Current Georgia LPN or RN license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, manage, and supervise in classrooms, labs, and clinicals with appropriate methods.
• Prepare lesson plans for occupational courses.
• Advise and register health sciences students.
• Develop curriculum and assess courses in the department.
